The Poison Flowers are hybrids of original sculpted forms, and slip-cast and press-molded objects and textures from nature, which I have combined to suggest a ‘new’ organism. I also think of them as decorative arrangements, very similar to a floral arrangement. Flowers are often used to celebrate important moments of our lives, everything from love to death.

This flower was created using molds from: fruit, alligator skin, warthog tusks, antique ceramics, squash, and the upper palate of a wild boar
