Portfolio > Foolish Fish Studio, 1993-2000

After I graduated in 1993 with my B.A. in English, I landed a great job at a medical insurance company. After a few months, as an alternative to drinking myself to death, I started making ceramic whistles and flutes in the basement; this venture eventually led to Foolish Fish Studio. My small business specialized in fountains, lamps, tile, and other decorative foolishness. I started by selling my creations at the local farmer's markets, and worked my way up to art fairs and galleries.
After about a year I was able to quit that awful job at the insurance company. I've been virtually unemployable since.
